fat belly

I have lost 110 lbs but cant loose the big belly. I can't do sit ups but I drink about 4-5 cups of coffee a day could this be the reason? By Anonymous

Caffeine consumption in form of coffee will to some extent affect your ability to lose belly fat. So reduce your daily consumption of coffee. To lose resistant belly fat you will need to do some exercise and control the nutrition of what you eat. The exercise should be a combination of resistance training as well as cardio exercise. Cardio could be done at the gym or you could just walk or jog. You should reduce foods with high glycemic index. Reduce your intake of sugar, and all foods containing refined sugar such as cakes, muffins, a lot of fat, and carbonated beverages among others. Reduce your calorie intake. These foods control the release of insulin. Too much insulin tends to cause accumulation of belly fat.
